Our first camping adventure of the 2024 season was the May 24 long weekend at Presqu’ile Provincial Park. On our way there, we stopped to get a picture of the wind turbines up by Highway 115, as it was on our way.

The weather was cool enough to keep the mosquito’s at bay, but not too cool so to make our trip enjoyable.

We stayed at site 130 in the Maples campground.

We noticed a lot of cabins now exist on campsites we used to camp on. They are given names like “Sugar shack.” We may consider this in the future when we are done with our trailer.

We enjoyed an evening by the water on our first evening.

The next morning, we decided to ride our bicycles up to the lighthouse.

We decided to hike the Newcastle trail after that.

On our hikes, we noticed plenty of spring flowers in the woods to add colour to our world.

We decided to spend the next evening on beach number 1 as a relaxing way to finish our adventure.

Until the next adventure, safe travels, friends.
